A recent survey of 2,967 Chinese university studentsby China Youth Dailyreveals that over 60% consider housing support a crucial factor when choosing where to work after graduation.
The most valued policies include rental subsidies (72%), talent apartments (73%), and short-term free housing during job searches (50%). However, nearly half of respondents admitted limited understanding of existing housing policies, calling for clearer and more accessible information channels. As young talent increasingly links housing security with career decisions, cities are paying closer attention to building youth-friendly living environments.
